Description
Velvet Beans or Cowitch as they are commonly known, these seeds are found in Africa as well as tropical Asia.
The seed is used by many as protection against evillike spells or spirits. It is also said that carrying the seed around with you will bring you luck and good fortune.
In Portuguese these seeds are called olho de boi which translates as eye of an ox.
